This was the first waterfall we went to in GA and it was really cool. Not only was it easy access but also many places to stand near the falls to take pictures. While we were taking pictures, the kids were able to crawl around the small pools and have some fun. Baron slept through the whole thing, that kid was tired.

Georgia - 60th Anniversary

This year was my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and we made the long drive to Clayton, GA to celebrate with them. We all rented a big house way up on the mountain and stayed there for the duration. It was amazing and the views were to die for. There are going to be several posts of the GA trip because as you know, I have taken a TON a pictures.

We went to Burton Beach on Burton Lake to let everybody swim. This was Baron's first time with sand and open water. He was at bit skeptical at first but once we got him in he absolutely loved it. He would want to walk in, then walk out and walk in and back out. You get the picture. I was curious with how he would do with the sand but it didn't really make an impression with him. I think he was more interested in the water.

Our New Addition to the Family

We had been looking for a new vehicle for awhile and finally narrowed down to what we both wanted. Now came the hard part...after leaving several locations in frustration from playing the game, on our last stop, it all came together.

We drove off the lot at 9.30pm with our new Chevy Traverse with hopes that it will be something reliable for many years and to carry with it, some good memories to come.

Social Worker of the Year

Cindy was crowned Social Worker of the Year by her district and the whole family was there to support her. She didn't have any idea we were going to be there and was totally surprised, by the award and all the support.
After we were finished at the school, we headed back to their house to grill out and let the kids swim in the pool. Baron and Riley didn't get in because we didn't come prepared and I wasn't about to get in that cold water. While Baron sat in the exersaucer, Riley enjoyed some chips and dip. What a sight, that girl.
It was nice that the whole family was able to take time out of their workday to come and support Cindy. She really deserved it.

Since today was awesome, I decided to get out the swimming pool for Baron. I was so excited! I got it all ready and filled it with water at lunch time, that way while he took his afternoon nap the water would warm up. I don't think I even have to explain that he loved it from the very start. He actually saw it before I put him down for his nap and I couldn't pull him away from the window. When Rob brought him out, the sounds and expressions that he was making was priceless. This is totally what it's all about. Super fun!
