The Erb Family

I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of this family Saturday and had a really good time. Madison, did awesome and was totally a natural. She definitely made it so easy. Blake on the other hand, who is 1, made me work a little more for the good shot. They have such a cute family and both kids are spitting images of their parents. I hope to do this again when I can get them outside and not be so cramped in the basement.

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

Company

Riley stayed over last Saturday night and she and Baron had such a good time. Yes, I have to admit, there were times when they would fight over the same toy but all in all they did really well together. I have a feeling that Baron is just going to do whatever Riley tells him to do. At certain points during the night, Riley would instruct Baron to go sit in his play house. Of course he would with no questions asked. I have a feeling if Riley said to stay there all night he would and continue to wonder when she was coming back. All while, she would be distracted by something else and forget about him.

   

Santa!

Again this year we headed to Santa’s Magical Kingdom to look at all the lights and have Baron sit on Santa’s lap. He seems to be enjoying it more and more as the years progress. I was a little worried this year because he was starting to say that he didn’t want to sit on Santa’s lap but once we were waiting in line, he couldn’t wait to get a peek of the big guy.

It was our turn and they called our names and Baron went right in and sat on his lap. No issues…Santa asked what Baron wanted to Christmas and he said he wanted a prize. I wish that we could have had a different picture printed but according to the photographer, Santa wasn’t looking directly at the camera even though Baron was and smiling. Anyway, we were happy and the picture looks a little uncomfortable but that’s the one they chose.

 

 

 

Christmas Pics

This year I had some fun ideas for Baron and his pictures. It involved ALOT of candy. He did really well for the most part but near the end, he was bouncing off the walls from the sugar rush, and I knew he was done.

    

Christmas Time!

Yesterday, I wanted to get some lights up outside on the deck railing before Baron woke up from his nap so that he would be surprised. About halfway through, I heard pounding on a window. I looked up and sure enough Baron was looking out, frantically waving and jumping up and down while screaming so loud that I could hear it all outside over the heavy wind. Baron was psyched to see the lights outside and that was just the start of it.

It really is just getting better and better each year. He was so excited to help decorate the tree and put the lights and ornaments on it. He did really well and lasted through the entire process. Of course all the ornaments that he did were on the same limb, but that’s ok because Rob does the same thing…

   

 

Big Boy Underwears

Baron has graduated to his big boy underwears as he calls them. He has been showing an interest in the potty for awhile and will go on it if asked. Even sometimes he prompts it. So, we let him pick out his underwear and have been setting the timer for every 30 mins. It definitely hasn’t happened overnight but 90% of the time he goes on the potty. It’s a work in progress but it’s nice to take a step in the right direction.
