We headed to the Eureka Fireman's Rodeo on Friday night. I had never been to a rodeo, only have seen them on TV, but Rob was an ol seasoned pro. I have to admit, between the people watching and the actual Rodeo, it was pretty interesting event. I thought it would have gone a little faster, but according to Rob, it takes some time to get the horses/cattle set up. I haven't seen that many horses in a long time and Baron wouldn't turn his head. We got there early so we could let him walk around and I think he stuck out like a sore thumb. All the other kids were dressed in their cowboy/cowgirl attire, while Baron was decked out in his hoodie, puppy dog hat and tennies.
Later, during intermission, he made some friends, danced a little and had his first encounter with a little girl who kept pushing him. It was harmless, but oh so funny. He really didn't know what to do. He just kept running away. We got some laughs and had an all around good time. Yee Haw!

VERY impressed at how the shots turned out - hardly any noise, which inside is no easy feat.

I like the post processing on the first Baron shot. He's a cutie - particularly since he's evidently a gentleman. Most little boys would hit back in a heartbeat.
