Baron always likes visitors and he took to Phil just like he was a new toy. At first, it took him a while to start saying his name but after about 24 hrs, that was the first thing out of his mouth. In fact, after Phil left, Baron continued to ask for Phil…so much so that his eyes would start to well up knowing that he was gone. It was sweet.
Saturday, we headed out in the sweltering heat to Ballwin Days. We had went the previous year and had a good time and thought that Phil would get a kick out of a small town festival. We also wanted to see the fireworks which so happened were pushed back to later. That was a good thing because it was H O T! I was sweating up a storm, most likely from all of the alcohol that was consumed the night before but we put Baron on some rides and got back in the nice and cool air.
