Rob’s college friend Phil came to visit for several days last weekend and boy did those two have a good time. Thanks to Facebook, they were able to reconnect and had been corresponding for months. With both being Mizzou grads and both Discus throwers, the conversation was never dull.
Friday, thanks to Stacy, all of us were able to go out to Schneithort’s for a few beers. That place is an old stomping ground of ours and we thought that Phil would enjoy it. We had several large steins of good ol German beer and then headed home. It was nice to get out for a few hours and hear all of the old throwing memories that they both shared.
