Saturday we headed to Eureka to run in the 5k and then stay to watch the parade. This is Baron's first parade and I was excited for him. It would also be the one of the first times he would be going without his morning nap. The 5k went smooth and it was nice that we were able to get some good spots for the parade. I think Baron was more interested in the balloons that were being let go than the actual parade. However, once the little cars, three wheelers started going by he was more interested. I was surprised on how many people thought they could just stand in front of us. At times, we would have to ask them to move aside so that Baron would be able to see. It was a little frustrating at times...
Later that day, we headed back to walk around the rides, listen to some bands and watch the Fireworks. Rob's friends, Matt and Dave joined us, as well as Chad, Stacy and Riley. It was a good time.
